I'm so happy we are starting to receive Christmas cards! All the licking Lilly and I did on our cards was worth it!

We always leave cookies and milk out for Santa! 

We went camping!!

As you see, we did get to go camping over Turkey Day. What we didn't know was mom had a task in mind for us.

While camping we addressed our Christmas cards to everyone. The picture was taken in the door of the camper. We had to lick the envelopes..yukky taste in our mouths for hours. We think we still bark with a lisp!

We got home Sunday night and mom and dad have been on the run since. We kept giving hints that we hadn't blogged for DAYSSSSS. Finally, it hit mom that we needed to let everyone know we were home!

We had a great time camping, but mom and dad had to go back to work Monday which didn't seem to thrill them. Wonder why not?? 

This says it all..

We've been upset with mom the last few days because she hasn't taken time to blog. We've given her the "ignoring" treatment, which she seemed to enjoy! We've disturbed her sleep with frequent requests to go outdoors during the night, just to see if it's still night, hehe. That didn't seem to upset her too much either. We've tried everything to let her know we were upset with the "lack" of attention.

Well, she finally sat down last night and talked to us. She explained there are many things going on in the human part of the family and she's sorry she's been too busy to let us blog. She asked us to be patient and once the holidays are over we'll be back to normal, she hopes. So, we agreed to be patient.

She and Dad surprised us last night by telling us we are going camping for the Thanksgiving holidays!!!! We're were so happy we ran around like puppies. Which ended up leaving us breathless and worn out. Just think, 4 days at the park to enjoy nature. Which led mom to posting this picture for us. She said no words were needed.. 

They're home!!

Well, mom and dad made it home safe and sound. Guess they missed us more then we thought. They had gone to Oklahoma. We still don't understand why we couldn't go.

Now, look at the car. Is there not plenty of room for 2 very adorable dachsies??? You throw in a bed, blankets, a few treats and toys and we're set! But noooooo we had to stay home. grrrr. The neighbor lady did take very good care of us, so we shouldn't complain.

Mom did get us a huge chewbone, we mean huge! Maybe she will take a picture of us with it. Only thing is it wasn't a raw bone with meat on it, but guess we better not complain. They just need to remember next roadtrip: 2 dachsies better be in that car! 

Oh, wait until you get home!!!!!

Mom and Dad will be gone this weekend, guess what...we don't get to go!!

Salchicha put up a good argument but it did no good. We thought of using Copper's trick, pee on their clothes but figured that wouldn't do much good.

The neighbor lady is watching us, we have fun with her but she doesn't blog so we won't be around until Monday.

Now, if mom would be distracted and "accidently" leave the computer on we could do some serious blogging.. mmmmm.. now that's an idea worth thinking about. Go with the "cutsie" look Lilly!
