In Search of Park..

Once again Mom and Dad took off for volunteering at the park this weekend. Usually, it's only 1 day but this weekend they were gone Saturday and returned there on Sunday.

Well, we discussed it and decided we would just take on the adventure of finding our way to the park. We had no idea how to get started but hey, we are 2 intelligent dogs! Ok, we are a team of 2 dogs with good intelligence.. ok, we are pretty darn smart if food is involved and we feel there is food at the park.

Mom left her computer logged on so we went to mapquest.. that turned out to be too much of 'go this way, go that way, go this way'..if they would just make up their minds! Well, what do you think we did..we just put our noses to the ground and took off.

Ok.. question. What is a cul-d-sac? Seemed all we did was go in circles. We finally gave up, returned to the house and waited for Mom and Dad to come home so we could "lay the quilt" on them.. it worked. 

It's cold out there..but warm in here!

It's so cold outside Mom won't let us stay out long. It's "go out and get your business taken care of." Ok, now pressure and "doing our business" do not mix!

We are having an Artic Blast, whatever that is. I think the cold temps and freezing rain has something to do with it, but since we can't stay out long how are we going to find out?

Mom finally got home, that's why we haven't blogged for so long. If she would leave the computer on we could do our blogging..geeesh. She and Dad went to see their new grandbaby. Still not sure what a grandbaby is but am sure we will find out.

We just wanted to let you know we didn't run off and join the circus, we are still here. I, Lilly am just trying to figure out why Salchicha gets to curl up by the fire and I'm on the floor?? 

New baby in the family

This is our cousin trying to figure out what this "baby" excitement is all about. Her human mommy has been very good about including her in preparing for the new arrival, but we think she is still a little confused. She has a human sister and brother already, so does this make a complete set?

We think she is talking to her soon to be new sister and letting her know that SHE is the spoiled "baby doggie" and being the newest arrival she will have to accept the "doggie order".

Wonder if that works for nana & grandpa too..mmmm. Whoa, this might mean we will get more treats so we feel included! Yah, that will work.. Hey Salchicha, come here! I have a great idea.

Our Trip to Granny's

Here's Salchicha anxiously waiting to get to Granny's for Christmas. He knows there will be lots of running and playing outdoors! He was just excited to be riding in Mom's car..hehehe. He and Lilly behaved very well on the long trip from Texas to Oklahoma.

I think there are treats in the cooler and he is making sure I don't eat them before we arrive at Granny's and share them with everyone..mmmm.









This is Granny's little puppy..well, what you can see of her. We were making a game plan to use with Salchicha to get the treats away from him.

He was real good about protecting that cooler, even after getting to Granny's.
We had a great time in Oklahoma. It was very cold, but we enjoyed running around outdoors. We even got some special treats from Granny because we came so far to spend the holidays with her. She knows we love her, but if she is willing to share more treats, why argue. hehehe.
